The Philosophy
Aligné is thoughtful, integrative, research-informed therapy rooted in psychodynamic work — understanding the deeper why behind your reactions and patterns, not just managing symptoms.
Informed by the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, it pairs insight with practical tools to improve communication, connection, and trust — attuned to your attachment, culture, and context: who you are, where you come from, and how you want to live now.

I'm Dr. Vaida Kurseviciene, a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of Aligné. I specialize in individual and couples therapy for people who are capable and perceptive, yet find themselves stuck in painful patterns — in their relationships, careers, or inner lives.
My approach is collaborative and precise. I listen not only for what is happening now, but also for the deeper threads that connect your past, present, and hopes for the future — so we can work toward insight that actually leads to different choices and a more aligned way of living.
Licensed in Florida and New York and PSYPACT authorized, I work with high-functioning individuals and couples through secure online sessions.

In Their Words
I grew up in a dictatorship and carried that trauma with me. A conflict with a difficult colleague triggered old wounds, bringing anxiety and self-doubt. Dr. Kurseviciene helped me learn to set boundaries and created a safe space to process the trauma of my youth. I'm grateful for her insight, empathy, and guidance.
Dr. K helped us during a time when I wasn't sure how to communicate in a healthy way — I'd get triggered and shut down. We love each other deeply, but we brought childhood stories that challenged our connection. She helped us pause, remember how much we care, and approach each other with curiosity and love rather than defensiveness. What a difference that made. I'm very grateful and would highly recommend her.
Dr. V skillfully helped my family identify the core issues inhibiting trusting, loving relationships — with caring and compassion, matching the pace of therapy to our ability to be vulnerable. She introduced skills like listening with curiosity and asking for what one needs. The changes have been profound and lasting: greater safety with vulnerability, and a greater ability to fully express our love.
