I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida and New York, with PSYPACT authorization to provide telehealth across many U.S. states. I earned both my Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, and completed my pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral residency within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
My experience across VA, hospital, and university settings deepened my appreciation for each person's unique cultural and emotional context. Over the years I've provided individual, couples, and group therapy for adults navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, trauma, anger, depression, grief, and major life transitions.
Many of the people I work with look, from the outside, like they have it together. Inside, they feel disconnected, unfulfilled, or caught in the same painful patterns — especially in their closest relationships. My work is about helping you move from awareness to genuine change.
I'm also a clinician at Madison Park Psychological Services, a premier practice in New York, where I work primarily with highly functioning individuals — deepening my specialization in supporting diverse, high-achieving professionals. To keep growing alongside my clients, I'll be continuing my advanced education beginning September 2026 in the Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program at Columbia University.
My approach is integrative and relational — warm, direct, and insight-oriented. I draw on psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy to understand how your history shapes your present, and I pair that depth with research-based, practical frameworks so change is felt in daily life, not just discussed in session.
I see therapy as a collaborative process — one where curiosity, compassion, and honesty come together to create real growth. My goal is for you to feel genuinely seen and supported while we do meaningful, sometimes brave, work together.
Research-based couples work to reduce conflict and rebuild connection.
Softening reactivity and deepening the emotional bond between partners.
Understanding the inner parts that drive our patterns and protect us.
Exploring the deeper "why" behind reactions, choices, and relationships.
Aligné grew out of a belief I return to again and again: much of our suffering comes from living out of alignment — with our values, our needs, or the people we love. When we understand our patterns and gently realign, life and relationships begin to feel more grounded, intentional, and true.
I integrate both Western research and Eastern philosophies to foster emotional balance, resilience, and connection — always attuned to your culture, identity, and story.
The Story Behind the Name
Aligné
The name carries a French accent — a quiet nod to a part of the world I feel deeply connected to. It was while traveling through France that the vision crystallized. My connection to Europe, and to France especially, is close to my heart, and my way of working aligns naturally with the values I associate with it: warmth, attunement, respect, and depth.
It also felt aligned with its moment. In Chinese astrology, 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — is widely described as a year of truth and alignment: a time to be clear about what you want, release what no longer serves you, and live in closer accord with your values. That is precisely the work I do with my clients.
My psychodynamic approach and the other techniques I draw on blend together to help you see the whole picture — and come into alignment within yourself and with the people you love. It is a way of working that is warm and delicate, yet precise and direct.
